Post by Sylvia Rosetta Valence on Jun 12, 2010 15:56:05 GMT -5
Name: Sylvia Rosetta Valence Birthday: 13th October 1996 Blood: Half Veela Appearance:
Sylvia is a petite girl, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in the rest. Her hair is normally long and flowing, its natural colour is an almost white blond. How ever a somewhat rare and odd trait has followed her through her family and her hair has often been known to shift and change at will. Her skin is pale but flawless, the perfection of beauty itself thanks to her Veela mother. Her features although beautiful carry a harsh edge to them. There is something about the way she holds herself that warns others that she really isnt a girl to get on the wrong side of. She wears make up, though it isnt really needed she is always well presented and takes pride in the way she appears to others, especially the weak minded guys she takes advantage of.
Personality: To say that Sylvia wasnt nice would be an understatement. She had been taught one thing from birth and that was survival of the fittest. Sylvia knows she is capable and she has no qualms with using weak minded fools for her own gain. Her thirst for knowledge has often seen her using her veela charms to convince others to let on more than they normally would. Friendship is a word that means little to her, if she is your friend it is either because she sees some common goal or because you have something that she wants. She attracts 'followers' but she never refers to them as 'friends.'
If you are of no interest to her then its likely you will be ignored, Sylvia doesnt waste her time with those who do nothing for her. She has inherited her mothers rage and fury, meaning that those who scorn her quickly live to regret it. Her icy cold stare is enough to turn grown men into quivering wrecks. However, she plays her games well and if she is nice, she never lets any suspect her feelings were false. Keeping the facade was hard however she knew that having a reputation as being heartless would hardly help her in her goals in life.
History:
Sylvia was born to a Veela mother and human father. Her family past is filled with great struggle and it is this that has shaped Sylvia through the years. Her father was a death eater, he was loyal to Lord Voldemort and he died fighting for him. Sylvia was bitter over his death because she admired him and his view on life. When he died she was looked after by her grandmother, who encouraged her to follow in her fathers footsteps. Forbidden magic was of great interest to her and it wasnt long before she started wondering how long it would be before a new dark lord rose up amongst the ashes. She liked to think that perhaps she could help one day with that.
However she knew that she needed something she didnt have, knowledge. When her letter came for her to be accepted into a wizarding school she knew this was her chance to learn the things that she needed to reach her goals. As she grew up it had become obvious that she had taken her fathers talent for magic and her mothers beauty. However it seemed she had taken on morphic abilities from her fathers side, being able to change her hair's appearence at will. Before she started school however it became obvious that her skill in magic was great, but her patience to learn and her attitude often got in the way of learning quickly
Her grandmother hopes that by going to school Sylvia will be further shaped into an ideal 'Dark' Mistress who could help rally those supporters of dark magic. Though Sylvia isnt fully aware of her grandmothers goals she knows that she would be using her 'charms' to try and gain access to information perhaps not meant for student eyes. Her gift from her mother before she left was a wand which held a strand of her hair as its core. Sylvia treasures it greatly knowing that her heritage fuels her magic.

Post by Trinity Nicole Evans on Jun 13, 2010 16:01:20 GMT -5
NAME: Trinity Nicole Evans
Birthday: June Sixth, 1994
Blood: Pure on Mother's side, but Father was Muggle born....
Appearance: Trinity is petite, she gets it from her mother. Trinity has long brown hair and dark brown eyes, with sunkissed skin to match. She loves to wear heels to give herself a boost of height and remind people that just because she is short, they cannot walk all over her. Trinity is about 5 feet exactly, so is her twin sister, Natalia. Trinity weighs about 110 pounds but that's on good days, she can weigh a lot less, that's why she likes to work out her arm muscles to give herself a bit of more weight. But you can't tell that she has even worked out.
Personality: Trinity is the type of girl that stands up for what she believes in. Growing up in a household full of children, and being the second oldest, Trinity had to develop her own self and own ideas. There was always someone mimicking another and always someone fighting with another. So Trinity became the lawyer and mediator of the family.
Trinity is hyper active and lazy when it comes to homework and classes. She hates when she gets in trouble, but if she gets the chance, she will ditch a class. Now that she has left her home, Trinity can now live a little and be free from screaming kids, although in time she will remember how much she loves them and her twin, and will start behaving good again.
History: Trinity is the second oldest out of six children and is a twin. Trinity was born on June 6, 1994 to Joseph Greggory Evans and Gweneth Isabella Oxford Evans. She was born two minutes before her fraternal twin sister, Natalia Scarlette Evans, was born. Growing up at the Evans Manor in London, England, was an adventure for Trinity. She and her twin discovered that they were connected on a different level than the rest of humanity. They could sense each others' thoughts and feelings. They couldn't neccessairly read each others thoughts, but they could get the gist of them. That helped them when they got into trouble when they were younger.
Since Trinity was the second oldest of six, she often had to help Jensen, her older sister, and her mom with the younger siblings. They eventually hired a nursemaid, that was also their nanny, but Trinity was still on kid duty. Trinity didn't let that ruin all of her childhood, she, Jensen, and Natalia still had great fun playing in the lake, in the treehouse and in the nursery. Until Jensen received her Hogwarts acceptance letter and was sent away, after that Trinity didn't play much.
Trinity grew up after that, no more playing in the lake, or in the treehouse, or whatnot. She began to study some of the educational books that Jensen had left and Trinity grew somewhat depressed. Trinity wouldn't talk to her twin or her family much after that. And when Trinity and Natalia turned fifteen, they received their acceptance letter to Wexford Academy. Never had Trinity been so happy, she knew that she would get away from the Manor and all of its depressing qualities and seek new adventures. And best of all, Jensen was the Professor of Muggle Studies.

Post by Dominic Leventhorpe on Jun 13, 2010 17:10:28 GMT -5
✚ NAME: Cyrus Dominic Amadeus Leventhorpe Rye ✚ Birthday: November 29th 1993 ✚ Blood: Pure-Blood
✚ Appearance: Standing at his 6'2 inches, this bloke gets the attention quite easily, even without willing it. The curls of his dark brown hair call the stares of girls whenever he's simply passing by. An athletic frame gives him the faultless appearance of a sixteenth year old whose hazel brown eyes can pierce through your skin and touch the depths of your soul. His pale seamless skin is silky without any apparent reason, although many people might guess it's because of personal care, but he's not fond of that or caring about it either. He can be recognized for having his nose sunk within pages and pages of books. His look with an arched brow while lurking at you above the cover of the volume he's holding with his hands, might be his perfect description.
✚ Personality: The first thing you may notice at first glance is the manner in which his pupils scan you from head to toes as to looking for something what to praise or hate about you. Sarcastic, Sardonic, easily bemused by the irony and the black jokes. With such personality someone would just tell he's a jerk, someone whose principles are so damaged and whose value of life's quite lost. Nevertheless, he's always surrounded by groups of people and acquaintances, though he's not related to any of them closely. For that matter, he could just roll his eyes in their direction and spout. As much as he intends it, he can't help but harming the persons around him whenever he's not in the mood. Let alone the fact he rarely minds.
Dominic can be trusted, as his lips would never part and reveal whatever secret you confined to his knowledge. This is something good, thanks to his emotionless countenance unable to express any hint of the knowing of something, or the slightest of doubts, just because he always believes himself a know-it-all and reckons he has all the answers to anything you want to ask him. Due his avidness for reading, he's cultured and clever. So the things he revels the most consist of making others look like dumbs when he says something out of their intelligence. He can bask in the expression of their faces while trying to decipher what he's stating.
Music is his passion, and so it's not a surprise he's talented at playing the violin and the piano, since he's being taught in the art of the manage of those instruments. He can be found in the ground, underneath an oak, just playing the violin for his own amusement. He's not very skilled at writing his own music, so he just keeps himself attached to the usual classic melodies. These are master pieces of art that can't prevent from loving despite of how dull may seem to others. However, he's a bit concerned about the public opinion, so he prefers to seclude himself whenever he's in the mood for it.
Quidditch conforms another of his habits, although he's not fond of playing it, but to watch it and foresee the results without them actually being accurate. Nevertheless, he never gets a flaw at predictions, thus he's quite impossible to defeat at anything. An expertise in magical chess, and at almost everything you encouraged him to do. For being someone so young, this might be a wrong detour on his fate, but he's exultant and he's not having any wish of changing the way he is.
✚ History: In a normally clouded daylight of the usual weather from London, UK. Within the wide area of a hospital, somewhere down town, Cyrus Dominc Amadeus was born in November 29th in 1993, from Elizabeth Watson and Raymund Logan Leventhorpe, both acknowledged members of the Ministry of Magic. Occupying high possitions, this was a wealthy family that had no problem at raising the little boy, spoiling him the enough, but teaching him values and the importance of knowledge for life and the proper preparation.
Since he learnt how to wrap his fingers around his wand in a correct way, Dominic demonstrated to be skilled and master magic from the very first time he was asked to perform a spell. It didn't astound them as his parents were important talented wizards. He was introduced in the deepest teachings of magic, so he could learn how to cast any sort of spell from an early age. In a matter of years he achieved to get outstanding results at it and impress his parents with it, to the point they considered prudent to let him explore his magical side and his abilities.
He came to love Quidditch from the very first time he witnessed a game, although he didn't get the same results when he tried to take the position of Seeker. Soaring through the air figured no problem to him, he could ride a broomstick quite faultlessly, but his coordination of sight and movements wasn't as perfect as he would have wished them to be. Therefore, he gave up at attempting it, and decided to just contemplate instead. The fun of him falling and being clumsy at catching the snitch wasn't a pleasant image to remember for him, so he just opted to forget everything about it and focus on the things he was good at. Thanks to it, he became a huge fan of the sport and admired it entirely.
Once he reached the age of sixteen, he started to define his future with his cryptic mind, so he'd take small steps to make that happen. He had everything solved, as he would just wait until he graduated to become Minister of Magic and bring a new order to the Wizarding World. He received his letter in no dilation, as if they knew exactly when he had made up his mind about the matter. From that moment and on, he'd just start to mingle himself with people, as he had grown up all by himself, being a single child. Everything was settled, the only thing left for him to decide, was when that overwhelming fate would meet him.
I choose you, MAIOR!

Post by EMILIE RENEE ABENDROTH on Jun 13, 2010 21:20:21 GMT -5
NAME: Emilie Renee Abendroth Birthday: February 16th 1993 Blood: Fairy Blood Appearance: Emilie is a petite girl standing at around 5 feet tall and weighing only 90 pounds. This would seem strange for someone to be so small but if you knew she was a fairy then it would make sense. In fairy form she is about 6 inches tall and weighs as much as a paper clip. Her wings, that when not using glamour, look like one large tattoo on her back, spans from over her shoulders down to mid thigh. However, they are more detailed, more elaborate and far better looking than a tattoo ever could look like. On her wings are constellations and the stars glitter in the moonlight. The shades of blue on her wings change to the shade of the night sky, just like her eyes. Long blonde curls cascade down to the bottom of her shoulder blades and blue eyes that change with the colour of the sky. Her skin is milky white, much like a vampyre but unlike a vampire, her skin is not stone like but soft with grey and flesh undertones. Her lips are a pale pink, but slightly plump with a perfect cupid's bow. Her apparel is far from normal at all. She tends to wear Victorian style dresses with layers of petticoats and bunched fabric and corsets tied way tighter than necessary.
Personality: Emilie is an emotional basket case. She bottles up all her emotions until she no longer can hold them in. And when that happens, she explodes. You won't want to be around her or else she might end up killing you. Her language becomes vulgar, she snaps at anyone, she's rude, blunt and just plain scary. She has deadly aim when it comes to throwing knives which is the main way that she takes care of her anger and emotions. She tends to avoid people especially when she does this by going in the woods late at night for she doesn't actually want to harm or kill anyone though there certainly are people that if she wouldn't get in trouble, she would kill in cold blood. If she could kill someone, it wouldn't be a neat murder, no avada kedavre or or a bullet to the head. No, she would eloquently plan out a messy, bloody, murder that would be filled with pain to the brink that the victim would rather be murdered cleanly than to be tortured. It doesn't help that Emily is clinically depressed, bipolar and borderline psychotic. She would plan out murder plots this way even if she was normal but the fact that she is outright crazy just makes things ten times worse.
Emilie does take her medications like a good girl and therefore she acts normal and takes on her emotions like a normal person, expressing them through her music and dance, the two things that has always been with her since she was little. It's what has kept her sane even without medications. Her mother loved music and basically forced Emilie to play piano when she was little and clarinet. Emilie loved the clarinet more than the piano and though she was forced to play both when she felt that the clarinet would take more air than her little lungs could tolerate, she fell in love with both not long after she took up the instruments. Dance was the other thing she was slightly forced into as well. When she was only two years old, too young to actually think, she was put into a dance class. Later on in her years, she realised that her mother had enrolled her in private lessons and dance just to get her out of her hair. But it didn't matter anyway. It was slightly a good thing that she was good at dance. It kept her alive, literally, when they at last moved from Germany and her mother wanted to turn her into a slave basically.
Emilie can't help but to always want to fly. If she doesn't fly for a period of time, her back begins to ache and itch and cramp up and makes it extremely uncomfortable for Emilie to sit or stand as a human. But that never seems to ever be the problem because being a creature naturally makes her wild and free and slightly hyper at the speed that she flies at. Sometimes she uses her ability to fly to be up to no good. She's wild, and a wild creature, you can't really stop her from doing whatever she wants. If she wants to let off smoke bombs in the school hallway, she damn well will do so and no one will know it was her for she'll fly away before anyone catches a glimpse of her 6 inch frame. Being wealthy, traveling was always something her mother made her and her sister do since they were little and it was never something that Emilie minded. She actually loved it and unlike piano and clarinet, it took her no time at all to love to travel. She's been all across the globe, experiencing different cultures, living really well off or like they did in Germany, living on basics and being happy the way they were.
Music and dance and seeing the world made Emilie a very learned intellectual. Her mother, when she actually did care about her, read to her every day, taught her to appreciate education and taught her that you benefited more from self teaching than from a teacher. After being told that from her mother, her mother began to buy Emilie books. Her father had started too but after disappearing when she was 5, her mother continued. Book after book came in by owl and bought in the bookstore that Emilie began to run out of room. She really loved to read them all and loved the feel of owning books but eventually she really had no idea what to do with them and it kind of saddened her that she had to force herself not to pick up more books because she had no room. Most of them were about astronomy and astrology, the two topics that interested her the most. It only made sense seeing as her element was dark/night.
Being crazy, Emilie has always felt in the dark, out of the social circle, unable to fit in, even with her medications, hence why she kept up with music and dance because they were things that you could do by yourself. She never liked daytime either, always out at night and no one is ever out at night so there was another reason why she never felt like she could connect with people. She understands when people are hurt, their problems, the hardships they went through because Emilie had been through the ringer but beyond that, so many people saw the light in everything, tried to stay happy and Emily just couldn't be like the rest of them, fake being happy just to fit in. She could fake a smile really easily, she could clear her face of all emotion but read everyone else's like a book. But she could never fit in, never hide who she was. Keeping a blank face and eyes didn't make her hide who she was, it only showed that she was unable to fit in, scared that she would be shunned if she tried to be the real Emilie that she knew better than another person knew themselves. Emilie also often tried to hide her past, it wasn't like she was ashamed of her past, of what happened, but she was scared of being seen as a slxt because of her past employment and no one wanted to be friends with a ex-pole dancer who still owned all her outfits. She didn't want people to feel bad for her. That was the one thing she couldn't stand, the one thing that made her rip her hair out. Pity.
Emilie hates a lot of things, a lot of concepts and a lot of things that society loved to put out there, society's brainwashing. Society always told you to be yourself but you could never be yourself if they kept putting ideas into your head, pressured you to pressure yourself into looking like everyone else, the whole concept of fitting in. And that was the one thing that Emilie was, she was herself, unlike everyone else in the world. Emilie also doesn't believe in hope, it is a weak man's concept to make them think that there will always be light, that you always needed to hold on. 'Don't care what other people think out' was the worst of all. Because despite what people told you, it really does matter what people think about you. Emilie on the other hand, didn't care what people thought of her, for the most part, here in school. Yes, she was scared that people would hate her for being an ex-slxt but if they found out, she didn't care too much. She only care what her future employer or customers(she plans to open a dance and music school) thought of her. There is however, one concept that Emilie full on believed in and that is true love. She knew that there were always a few true loves out there for someone, you were just lucky if you could find one of them and that was really the only thing, besides her father back, that she wanted in life. History: At 00:00:00 on February 16th, 1993 a new baby fairy was born to a loving family. As a wee little inch long fairy, Emilie could fly as soon as she was born though it was just like skipping right to the walking stage of a toddler, yea she could fly but it wasn't like she could now, she went through the stages where she could only lift herself an inch off the ground before falling and then eventually she got herself up but couldn't fly very far and over time, she was able to fly higher and farther and stay in the air longer. Eventually it became a nuisance to Emilie's mother because Emilie was a night fairy and never slept when her mother did but she was a quiet baby, never cried or whined and always wanted to fly at night. It was a good thing that her father was a light sleeper, for he would watch her and make sure she was alright, sometimes playing or flying with her. He knew that she would be alright without his supervision but he did just so he could spend time with her and keep his wife from going into a tizzy.
A little over a year later, a baby sister was brought into Emilie's world and boy was she a pain. All she did was cry and whine and keep her mother up. Her mother knew she couldn't put her father up to taking care of Annaliese because he was watching over Emilie and going to work. Annaliese was always the spoiled brat as they got older, got everything she wanted, got away with everything but it didn't matter to Emilie because Emilie had her father's attention or by herself. Emilie looked up to her father, he cared so much about her and always did thing with her, made things for her, played with her. Her mother was too preoccupied with spoiling and taking care of Annaliese's whining to focus on Emilie though at times she wanted to trade with her husband but Emilie wouldn't budge. It wasn't that she hated her mother, or that she only wanted her father to pay attention to her, she just really enjoyed her fathers company. He always had stories to tell her and he taught her about the stars and the skies and cultures' reliance on the moon and the sky. He was her teacher, her mentor, her father and her best friend. They had special traditions that they did such as the train set he made for her. Every year from the time she was born he made one train set and since she could paint, she helped paint it.
When he moved away, it sent Emilie spiraling downwards, where all her mental issues became apparent. They existed before but they showed now. She spent a lot of time alone, she teased the werewolves on the full moon by making them chase her but never catching her, she couldn't sit still. She was wild and reckless and it was the main reason why her mother put her in dance and music, to get Emilie to calm down, to not be so crazy and Beth already had enough on her plate with little miss Annaliese. Emilie was never really close with her mother, she was too much of a tomboy to be close to her mother, but when her father left, she drifted even farther apart. There was an emptiness within her that no, guy, not her mother, no one could fill, no matter how hard they tried. She played with the 5 piece train, wore the necklace her father gave her before he left every day as a reminder of how much he meant to her. As hard as she tried, Emilie couldn't trace him. She tried every town in Germany. She knew he wouldn't leave the country so it seemed that he was either in the woods somewhere or he moved faster than Emilie could track him.
Beth and Shane had loved each other, it was a true love. The reason why her father left was not because he didn't love Beth but because he needed to get away from there and for other reasons he wouldn't disclose. Beth, though it seemed had moved on, hadn't but she hid it well. Emilie knew this to be true because she was good at peeling away outside layers of a person. Her mother began thinking about how she wanted to be a beautician and now that Emilie was 9 and Annaliese was too much for her, she dreamed of Paris and its fashion and beauty. It was now becoming a reality when her mother dragged her from the one place she loved, Germany, to Paris, France, leaving bratty little Annaliese in her strict aunt's hands. She relentless begged her mother to let her stay but Beth put her foot down, they were moving and that was final.
While Beth and Emilie were not close to begin with, moving to Paris had not brought them closer together, but ripped them farther apart. Beth was wealthy and was able to afford a nice place in Paris where she opened a beauty salon and they also bought a Victorian house in a Victorian era town that she converted into a bed and breakfast. Emilie couldn't stand being home. All her mother did was put her to work, yell at her, scream at her, etc. Eventually Emilie couldn't even make dinner there and her mother ended up not allowing Emilie to eat any of the food she bought. And so Emilie was basically forced onto the streets. She still was involved in music private lessons and numerous dance classes where she spent countless hours a day inside rehearsing like crazy and after Emilie ate dinner, she went to hang with her street crew and then off to her job. Emilie lied about her age to get a job because there was no where else that a 12 year old could work. She was flexible and a good dancer and her talent landed her at a night club where for 5 years, she danced and bar tended to make ends meet for her. After countless one night stands, flings, boyfriends, friends that weren't really her friends, Emilie eventually got used to it all. Her studies were never abandoned and she continued to read and learn. School just wasn't for her. She took her medications but she was still bat-shit crazy.
One day, Emilie had run out of medication all together and so she was off the wall. She was stabbing random things, her attention span was non-existent. Mid afternoon, Emilie could not stay focused in her dance class. She'd been put in an empty room to dance to her hearts desire but Emilie snuck out, she didn't like the feel of being surrounded by mirrors in a closed room. She came home that day, took a kitchen knife from the drawer, stabbed shampoo and soap bottles open and spilled them all over the floor and sat in it. Her mother came up later to eat lunch and seeing the mess, she flipped. She couldn't deal with Emilie and the best place she knew for Emilie far enough away was Wexford, and just like Emily had done 8 years go, she relentless begged to be sent to Germany instead but her mother wouldn't have it and here she is today.
Quite the complex person, but you'll fit in with NOCENS!

Post by Natalia Scarlette Evans on Jun 18, 2010 23:38:49 GMT -5
NAME: Natalia Scarlette Evans
Birthday: June Sixth, 1994
Blood: Pure on Mother's side, but Father was Muggle born.
Appearance: Natalia has just below shoulder-length honey coloured brown hair. In the winter months, it gets a bit darker, not as dark as her twin sister's, Trinity, which is a dark hazelnut. Natalia also has a honey creme tan to compliment her hair, some of it is natural while the rest is from simply going outside and playing tennis all day with her father, (which she adores). Natalia has glass brown eyes, a colour that you could almost see through if the eyes weren't eyes. Natalia stands five foot even and weighs about 110 pounds, just like her twin. Accept for her weight doesn't flunctuate like her sister's, it stays the same and Natalia looks healthy enough.
Personality: Natalia is extremely competitive, especially with her twin sister, Trinity. Natalia is gentle-hearted and caring but when it comes to her two minute older twin sister, everything changes. It's like she looses her identity and she wants to become just like Trinity, which annoys the crap out of Trinity. Trinity has always spent her life trying to make her own identity just for Natalia to come right behind her and screw it all up. Natalia is a great, innocent, sweet person when not around her sister. But once Trinity comes around, she is acting the same way. Lately Trinity has been behaving like a snob and spoiled brat who hasn't gotten her way in a very long time. And Natalia has started to act like her too.
Apart from Trinity, Natalia can help anyone, even if that's a deatheater in disguise. Natalia sees no harm or evil, she just loves to help people and loves to be caring and sweet. Natalia is a great listener and a great friend when people give her the chance and listen when she says that she has no control over how shse acts when she is around Trinity. This behavior of hers, when she is around Trinity, upsets Natalia a great deal. But she tries to bury that beneath her artistic abilities and intellictual abilities. She loves to read and draw, her favourite subject to read upon is Science Fiction and she draws and paints still life.
History: Natalia Scarlette Evans was born two minutes after her twin sister, Trinity Evans, on June 6, 1994 to parents: Joseph Evans and Gweneth Evans. Natalia would soon get used to being beaten out at everything by her twin sister, always second best but never first. This didn't really damage Natalia, it encouraged her to become better, it gave her a competitive streak. Natalia hated being seen as the weak one, even though she was the third oldest out of six children, how could she possibly be the weakest one?
As the years went on and more children were born, Natalia learned many valuable trades. She learned to draw and paint, she learned tennis, she adapted her mind to the growing world and tended to her studies so when she found out that she was a witch too, just like her eldest sister, Jensen, and her parents, she was going to be prepared to go to Wexford Academy and wow them with how much she already knew. Natalia had a plan, she was going to change the world and how they saw her. Trinity already knew of Natalia's plans, because of their special bond they had discovered at an early age that let them detect the gist of each other's thoughts and feelings. Trinity couldn't of cared less, she thought she was the better twin and would remain the better twin.
At the age of thirteen, Natalia suddenly felt different. She no longer felt the same when she was around her twin, she felt the need to mimick Trinity's every move and word. This was highly annoying to them and to everyone who was around. Whatever Trinity did, Natalia did, whether that be take a shower and Natalia was nearby in the same bathroom, Natalia would try to get in as well. This disturbed both girls deeply and no matter how hard Natalia tried to tell Trinity the truth that she wasn't doing any of it on purpose, Trinity wouldn't listen. And to this day, neither one really likes each other, but Natalia secertly wants to make it up to Trinity. She wants her twin sister back. Natalia hopes that the move to Wexford Academy will be the answer to their problem, that they would be cured of this bizarre ordeal.
I believe you'll fit quite well in the IGNIS house! :)

Post by ANYA OGILVIE on Jun 22, 2010 14:14:40 GMT -5
NAME: Anya Ogilvie Birthday: March 11, 1993 Blood: MuggleBorn
Appearance: Casting a glimpse through the students in the room, you’d probably just hover right past Anya who’s standing at a petite height of 5ft – how does one stand out in a crowd when you’re so short? That’s probably why Anya got her nickname Tinkerbell from her muggle friends back home; cause not only is she small and tiny like a pixie, Anya’s naturally got blonde hair just as Tinkerbell from Peter Pan does. In order to give herself more edge, she recently dyed her hair a shocking platinum white and even bleached her brows, this way she hopes she might actually stand out in a crowd more.
Anya’s got blue-grey eyes and very delicate features; many people often remark that she looks much like a living doll. The only very obvious quirk Anya has physically would be her rather large ears that stick out every time she puts her hair behind them. Her brothers often tease her saying that if they could flap; she’d probably be able to fly!
Personality: If Anya were a specific color, she’d probably represent the color yellow. Her sunny personality is rather infectious and it shows when she enters a room, she flashes a bright smile and just oozes positive energy. This is probably due to Anya leading an extremely sheltered life, being the youngest and only girl in the family has it’s perks – her 3 brothers would come to her aid anytime she needed and their extremely protective nature keeps her from getting into any sort of trouble. But that’s also why, now that she’s alone in the wizarding world, she’s just klutzy and ends up in all sorts of trouble being by herself.
Speaking about klutzy, it’s as if this girl’s born with two left feet. She loves a good party but if it involves a dance of some kind, she’d probably try her best to entertain herself in some other way. Anya has absolutely no sense of balance whatsoever so Quidditch lessons are often her most dreaded moments. She’s always falling off her broom, scratching herself or breaking a bone or two. It can be pretty embarrassing but if it happens so many times, it’s like… breathing after a while.
Anya’s a curious girl by nature; she loves finding out new things, exploring new places and hearing stories from all over the place. She often gets caught up in gossips and rumors, not really able to distinguish which stories are true and which are just lies. She’s simply way too trusting for her own good. Her naivety comes from being sheltered yet again and this trait of her often gets her wounding up in a whole mess load of trouble.
Another thing about exploring – it doesn’t mean because she likes it, she’s great at it. In truth, Anya’s probably the world’s worst navigator. It’s as if she’s walking around with her eyes covered, cause it always seems as if she can’t find her way around places. Anya carries around a notebook and makes little scribbles of maps inside to remind her of how to navigate around. Of course her scribbles are mostly more artsy than logical – which doesn’t help at all when it comes to telling her directions.
Some say Anya’s a complete push over and some say she’s just naïve and nice – either way, both statements are true. Anya would go to all sorts of lengths to help the people around her, even a mere stranger. She’s got a sense of up righteousness, and the idea that she can somehow “save the world”.
One thing though, Anya’s an amazing artist. She’s got a keen eye for things and love any form of art. Like we mentioned before, she carries around a little notebook everywhere – the notebook mostly consists of random doodles. In class when everyone’s taking notes, she draws them and even if she does write, she’s always decorating her words into some form of artsy typography piece. It’s hard to keep her mind focused in class with her constant need to doodle. But if a class requires a lot of visualizing and diagrams, Anya’s probably quite masterful with it.
History: The Ogilvie lived in Glasgow Scotland all their lives; they own a small eatery in the heart of town and manage to make a decent ordinary living. Emily and Rowan Ogilvie lived in a pleasant sized home that was just bustling with life, life coming from the noise their 3 boys make. Their boys were named Aaron, Anthony and Alexander.
After living with 3 noisy hyperactive boys; the Ogilvie couple was only too happy to welcome their first ever daughter into the world one sunny March afternoon. They named their baby girl Anya, painted her room pink, gave her dolls and yearned to see her grow into an elegant woman. Oh boy were they wrong! As little Anya grew up around her brothers, they soon found out that she was just as noisy as them and just as hyperactive! Not only that, she was quite the klutz falling into mud puddles and getting into all types of messes. Not that they loved her any less of course… they just wish maybe she could be a little bit more… feminine.
The Ogilvie family was already brimming to activity and surprises in their every day lives; so when they found out Anya was in truth a witch and had to attend Wexford Academy of Magic instead of a normal college like every other child – they took it pretty well for Muggles! Of course her brothers first thought it was the best prank they had ever seen, but after they realized it wasn’t, they only believed they had the coolest sister in all of Glasgow! Anya was equally thrilled, she grew up believing that magic truly existed and was even called nuts and ditzy a couple of times in school; now she could prove all those kids wrong! Magic did exist and she was one who had the power to wield it!
Packing her bags, Anya couldn’t wait to start her time in Wexford. She couldn’t wait to explore this other magical world, a world where anything can happen – a world with no ends of possibilities!
I believe your exploring personality and artistic ability belongs in the house of AGRESTIS. :)

Post by ERIK RAUL FENTHORNE on Jun 23, 2010 16:56:46 GMT -5
NAME: Erik Raul Fenthorne Birthday: 13 February 1993 Blood: Muggleborn Appearance:
Though his height is an average 5'9", Erik is saved from mediocrity by the strikingness of his facial features. His face can be described as square, with deeply defined cheekbones, leading into a chiseled, square jawline. Combined with his penetrating deep brown eyes, a look at a Erik was generally enough to fend the bullies off at the playground. Naturally, girls were inadvertently drawn to his enigmatic appearances. Erik exercises minimally, only to keep himself in shape, and takes no pleasure in it. As result of this, Erik is neither muscular and only barely toned, but possesses a fair complexion that produces a pleasing contrast against his mop of dark brown hair.
Personality:
On the outside, Erik seems pretty much your typical charming and enigmatic rich boy, complete with brooding silences. What people don't usually know is that his silences aren't for brooding purposes, though he does try to make it seem that way. He is, in fact, exercising his favourite hobby - observation of people. With a healthy obsession for the detective novel genre, as well as a hero worship for the fictional character of Sherlock Holmes, Erik has that as his deepest darkest secret that he would never tell to anyone in his high school.
In addition to being quite the bookworm, Erik also enjoys the respectable social status he enjoys as a result of his looks and his background, and he wouldn't give it up for the world. His hobby of people observation has also allowed him to make some astonishingly accurate deductions about people's histories and recent doings, which has only served to cement his favourable position on the social ladder.
As he enters Wexford, Erik is very much afeared. Which side of his personality would the Sorting Pensieve pick? The brooding, confident and popular guy that he's been playacting all his life, or the nerdy, bookish Sherlock Holmes enthusiast that he is when he was completely alone?
History:
Erik Raul Fenthorne was born into a family with several mixed heritages. He has Scottish and Spanish blood from his mother's side, with Greek and Icelandic blood from his father's. The Fenthornes had settled in England for at least 3 generations by now, and had somewhat neglected to remember their ancestries. The Fenthornes were not a member of the elite or the filthy rich, but they were generally businessmen with strategies, which enabled them to live in a comfortable but not extravagant luxury.
In his childhood, Erik had noticed the formation of a social ladder from as early as even nursery. He noticed how the bigger kids would steal the toys and food from the smaller ones, and also noted how the bigger kids would either leave him alone, or even ask him to join them. At the time, Erik did not know why this was so, but merely joined them simply because he preferred to have his toys and his food to himself.
While he was growing up, his parents bought him many storybooks and though he generally enjoyed them all, the books that he read until the spines tore and the covers folded were stories to do with Sherlock Holmes, Consultant Detective of 221b Baker Street in London. It was a sad, sad day for Erik when he found out that Sherlock Holmes was not, in fact, a historical figure.
To Erik, what fascinated him the most about Sherlock Holmes was the impeccable logic Holmes used to arrive at a seemingly impossible deduction from simple observations he made about any object or person, and how he uses the very science of logic to crack a case that has befuddled the cumbersome Scotland Yard. Erik has read and re-read the entire collection of unabridged Sherlock Holmes stories in the course of his growing up, until he was sure he could memorize the going-ons of them all. Of course, he did branch out to other detective novels as well, Agatha Christie proving to be better than he expected, though Sherlock Holmes would always have a special place in his life.
Indeed, it was his obsession with Holmes's logical deduction methods that instigated Erik to begin a hobby when he was a child. He would sit quietly in the classroom, and he would watch everyone around him closely, forming his own deductions. He noted the pink chalk marks on the back of the Maths teacher's neck, and deduced he was having an affair with the Geography teacher. He noted how Bobby Handelsen changed the brand of his shoes, and deduced that his father had lost a great deal of money. Erik got things wrong at first, but as his hobby became more of an unkickable habit, his skills of observation and deduction vastly improved along the way.
Erik's obsession with Sherlock Holmes and the detective novels was doomed to remain a jealously guarded secret that was not, under pain of death, to reach the ears of the student body. By high school, Erik was a highly sought-after bachelor. Not quite the "jock" since he didn't belong to any athletic teams, but more of the somewhat wealthy enigma that all the desperate teenage girls were now fighting to solve. His male counterparts grudgingly accepted and respected him, because he seemed like he had a knack for knowing things he shouldn't. None of them bothered to find out how he did it, and why. His reputation hung on the edge of a knife and as long as his secret was safe, so would his popularity.
Upon graduating from high school, Erik received the letter from Wexford Academy. After he had got over the shock and disbelief, Erik's first thought was how exciting it would be to finally be able to use magic to achieve the inhumanly high level of deduction demonstrated by Holmes, though he wasn't quite sure whether magic would be able to do that. His parents were completely oblivious to the existence of the Academy and indeed of magic, prior to the arrival of his letter. Though first suspicious, they eventually caved and allowed him to enter the Academy.
As Erik stood to be sorted at the Pensieve, an unnerving thought struck him for the first time - the persona he had created for himself all throughout high school, the popular rich boy, the brooding enigma, would have been expected to be sorted to Ignis or Nocens. Thinking about it, however, Erik felt that the house which called to him in his deeper, truer personality was in fact, Maior - the nerdhouse as he thought of it. A chilling fear gripped him as he wondered if the Pensieve could penetrate so far into his character. Was he really a Maior deep down inside, or was he just thinking too much? If sorted into Maior, it was as good as proclaiming to the world the secret of his detective novel obsession which he had kept so closely guarded for his entire life.
Yum. Ed Westwick. [dies] It's quite elementary that you belong in MAIOR.

Post by MARKO BEANIE CHERUB on Jun 27, 2010 7:46:41 GMT -5
Name: Marko Beanie Cherub Birthday: 4 July 1993 Blood: Muggleborn Appearance
The bespectacled Marko stands six foot two. Marko’s muscled cheekbone gives him an appearance of a disciplined young boy. Though Marko isn’t athletic, his natural tan matches his brown-cropped crew cut and dark brown eyes. Although he’s disinterested in sports Marko has managed to maintain a slender body through his purely regimented vegan diet and harsh hard knocked life.
Personality
A close friend of Marko will know that he is someone that takes immense pleasure in helping others. His selflessness and caring ways may be his greatest weakness despite his genuinely noble intentions. He’s often found going the extra mile for friends during their greatest time of need. This has on many occasions brought him to situations that are beyond the calling of the average person with a sound mind. Nevertheless, this has won the hearts of many of his cherished friends that are deeply loyal to him.
Academia is definitely not his calling. Ironically despite his love to read and conscientious approach to his studies, even more so that he’s willing sacrifice all leftover free time only to pillage through more stacks of textbooks, Marko has been scrapping through exam after exam his entire life. Thus he is certainly not academically inclined. This has certainly caused him much self-doubting of his personal capabilities and prospects.
History
Hailing from the UK, Marko Beanie Cherub is the eldest of a family of five children. Marko’s parents never held distinguished careers, thus he’s never had the privilege of a silver spoon. His parents worked double shifts struggling to feed the mouths of their five children. By day, working as masseuses and by night transforming their masseuse parlor into a secret gambling den. Nevertheless, in spite of their financially unstable position, Marko’s parent had instilled into their children solid values and hard discipline to prepare them for their own journey through the harshness of life.
Growing up in the suburbs, Marko has learnt the importance of friendship and brotherhood. The frequent visits by street thugs, disturbing the peace has made him vigilant. The rough life he’s had living in the streets remains to be an everlasting scar that he will always carry with him to the grave. Marko can never forget his irreplaceable best friend Peter James Fellon who had followed him through all his rough patches. Peter suffered a gunshot trauma wound to his right abdomen and eventually died from profuse bleeding and lack of treatment during the golden hour. All of which Marko personally witnessed, the permanent mental image of Peter dying haunts him in his sleep till this day. Marko was elated upon receiving his letter to Wexford Academy. To Marko, this is an excellent opportunity to escape from his viscous street life and pursue a brighter future to return the gratitude owed to his parents.
From the loyalty you have for your friends you shalt be sorted into the house of IGNIS. And I can tell you that are no thugs here. :D
