When the sun hit is eyes the Lupin turned to lay on his stomach and hide his face in the pillow. It was too early to get up, even if it was near noon. Romolous, also known as Teddy-Lou to his family, had been put on the train to the school late last night. Something about how his parents wanted to make sure their prized daughter was safe and that he needed to watch after her as a brother. Of course he had paid no attention to them 'cause he had learned over the years to tune out people, especially his family, very quickly. A sigh came from his lips as his eyes stayed closed. First night at the school had been alright. There were not very many people here at all and it was like a ghost town. Not even his own sister knew he was here yet. Something about surprising her came up and that was not on the youngest Lupin's agenda. He loved a good joke like the next person but he wasn't in the mood for such things at the moment. Trying to get comfortable again he pulled the comforter closer to him. Alright. I'm awake.
Not bothering to cover his mouth as he yawned Romolous got up from his bed and planted his feet on the stone floor. His grey eyes darted to a wizard clock that hung up on the wall. It's only eleven, he whined in his head as he rubbed his face. What was there to do around this school anyway? Perhaps he would go explore the school, the grounds, or go find his sister's office. If he found his sister he could steal Duke, her dog technically, but it always slept in his bed when it was home. It was pretty funny trying to see a six foot two guy and a Great Dane try to sleep on the same bed together. Luckily back home Teddy-Lou had a queen size bed in his room that could fit him and the dog... somewhat. Plus, he missed Duke. Duke might have thought he was a puppy and lap dog, but it didn't bother him (Romolous) one bit. Standing up he walked over to his trunk to find some clothes. This Lupin was not like his siblings who could color coordinate. What Teddy-Lou put on was usually what he thrown together and wore. No thought was put into his clothes at all against his mother's dismay.
Romolous pulled out a white shirt, a white undershirt, a flannel shirt, jeans, and his hat so he wouldn't have to deal with his hair. Taking off his clothing he rubbed his arms feeling a bit chilly with the change of wardrobe. Once all his clothes were put on his body he closed the trunk and didn't look back. Putting on some all black tennis shoes he walked out of the room. Now where would his sister's office be once he got out of the Agrestis Dormitories? They could have at least have gave you a map or something to work with. An outline at the very least! Out of the dormitory he looked to both sides of the hallway. If he could at least get out of the hallway and to the stairs he would be in good shape. And it was about time he got into shape because he had been lazy for the past two months. Usually he was quite athletic, but he hadn't been in the mood to do any exploring and such. About time he got back into his habits of exploring everything he could. He also needed to start thinking about his future and what he wanted to be, but there was time for that later.
Deciding to go to his left the Lupin put his hands in his pockets as he walked. His eyes darted to both walls trying to remember the portraits he saw so he didn't get lost. Usually he had a very good idea where he was when he was lost and how to get back. Being lost in the woods near his house helped him a lot with that. Once he had been lost with Amanda who nearly had a panic attack. Why on earth she was so uptight he didn't understand because no one in their family was that tense. Not even father was that bad. His sister needed to live more if Romolous had any say in the matter. Always trying to out-do everyone and always be the top dog... well... girl. Turning to the left this time he began finding the stairs. Right. Now which way? He might have felt like an idiot not knowing where he was going, but he had no other choice. It wasn't like anyone could help if he got lost or anything. Going up the stairs he continued going until he heard a running noise. Those sound familiar, he thought to himself as he turned his head to see a Great Dane coming his way.
"DUUUUKE!," he said opening his arms to the familiar pet. The pet tackled him to the ground and began licking him. "Definitely, Duke," he muttered to himself as he petted the dog then pushed him off. "Where's Sissy? Go find Sissy." Getting up he began following the Dane toward a room. Leave it up to the dog to find him and point him in the right direction. All he had to do was bring dog biscuits and that would have solved every problem of getting lost. At the door that was already opened he knocked on it gently seeing his older sister. "Miss me?," he asked smiling at her. Walking over to Amanda he hugged her and kissed her head since he was taller than her. "So short," he joked with her. "Yeah, of course he found me. Tackled me right on the stairs as always. What have you been up to? Have you me the Headmaster? I met him yesterday in a hall when I was looking for the dorms. He is amazing and hilarious." Of course he knew who James Black was, but he had to keep it calm not to make a fool of himself in front of his sister's employer.

CAN WE PRETEND THAT AIRPLANES IN THE NIGHT SKY ARE LIKE SHOOTING STARS? I COULD REALLY USE A WISH RIGHT NOW.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Amanda woke up with an early start this morning. Every since she arrived, which wasn't that long ago, she had work that needed to be done. James was just as busy and they barely saw each other except when it came to meal time. Of course not much conversation went on there, not even this morning for breakfast. But she was perfectly content that way, even when he did leave crumbs in the butter. That was disgusting and since then she asked the house elves to serve their butter separately. Amanda rarely spoke to James after meeting him in the garden. She felt that distance would help their professional relationship. Also that every time they spoke, they argued about something. She always loved getting the last word too, watching as James would storm away from her presence. Each time he left it felt like she accomplished the day. From then on she made it her goal to piss James Black off every day until she or he no longer is at this school. A wicked grin appeared across her face as she thought of all this, in the midst of writing a list to do that would have to be dealt with immediately once finished. Though she should take some time to herself and take Duke out for a walk, maybe a cup of tea as well, and write a letter to the board of education to update the status of the school.
They only had one teacher apply so far and receive the job. Also a few students have come and been sorted into houses. Wexford Academy was progressing at a very slow pace, but just like Rome, it cannot all be built in one day. She just hoped that sometime soon the school halls would be filled with kids and laughter again. Amanda loved to think back on her youthful years here at Wexford Academy and how every day had practically been an adventure for her. The halls and portraits would change, the students pulling pranks, and the ghosts! She wondered if any were still around the school and if they were, why were they hiding? Perhaps James Black did something to the ghosts that they hold him responsible for. Amanda laughed to herself, thinking that possibly could be a good excuse. She stood up from behind her desk, placing a kettle full of water over the fire place. While she waited for the water to boil in the mean time, Amanda retrieved her favorite tea cup and a packet of orange blossom tea. Placing the bag inside her cup, she went back behind her desk, writing another thing to do on her list. Visit her brother at the groundkeeper's hut since he now was employed there.
In all the list-making and tea brewing things to do, she didn't realize that Duke had left her office. The tea kettle went off and she took the pot out from the fireplace and poured the steaming hot water into her cup. Allowing the kettle to rest on a mat, she took her cup to her desk and placed it on it's saucer. Amanda glanced around before she sat, noticing the door to her office opened ajar. "I didn't leave that door open." She raised a quizzical brow, but before she thought of walking over to close it, someone began knocking at her door. Teddy entered her office and she was quite surprised. Of course she knew eventually he would come to school, but this soon? Her eyes followed Teddy as he walked over to her, a grin spread across her features as she stood up and embraced her brother as well. "Of course I missed you Teddy-Lou, even if it's been a couple days since I saw you." Amanda couldn't agree more that she is short compared to him. Teddy was growing just like Jonathan, both towering over her and her mother. Tall must have run in the boys blood since they all were just as tall as her father and even their grandfather! "I guess Duke ran off to find you. He could always sense when you're around."
She thought she had a million questions to ask off the bat, but Teddy beat her to it. "I'm fine actually. Had a little mishap on the day I arrived, but nothing serious. As soon as I got here, I went straight to work of course. Too bad we have one professor so far and our brother should be here soon!" Not literally in her office, but at the school to work. She wondered if Teddy knew about Jonathan coming to work at Wexford. Basically he would still be surrounded by family no matter whether he is at home or at school. Her brow furrowed deeply when he mentioned the Headmaster and how amazing and hilarious he is. His name irritated the hell out of Amanda, but she couldn't curse the Headmaster's name in front of her brother. It would be unethical of her and demeaning. "Oh yes, Headmaster James Black, I met him. He is... he's..." It was hard for her to say one good word about the man, and her voice strained when she tried. "The Headmaster is... well... he's... ni-ni-nic-ni-nice!" She let out a loud sigh and rested back in her chair, eyes closed as she brought her cup of tea to her lips. She felt like she had just done a day's work after complimenting the Headmaster. Now all she needed to do was brush her teeth at least ten times to get that icky taste out of her mouth. "Anyway, so how have you been? Is mum and father doing fine since I last saw them? Which house were you sorted in to? Oh and have you met anyone yet? Plan on playing quidditch?" Amanda smirked as she looked to Teddy, paying him in return for the remark he made on the Headmaster and she having to compliment the jerk.
